    I’d like to see Grav miss this one and spend a couple of weeks with our fast track rest and rehabilitation department, which HAD BETTER EXIST there’s no point saying he’s indispensible if what we are actually getting is a shadow of his pre Xmas self in reality he obv won’t be dropped but we need to do something with him

    like every player, he’ll improve and his cumulative stats will improve with more games *he just needs a run of 30 consecutive games…..*

    with a fair wind, Benteke could have been as good as Nunez was last year so could Carrol (eg not being so injury-prone) but none of them could be a long term solution in our current tactical set up which leaves us with an £80m bit part player which (cos FSG won’t stand for that) leaves us seriously short elsewhere

    building houses on the VS site is a terrible misallocation in the scheme of a regeneration project what’s needed is infrastructure not more Noddy houses and a resi scheme on that site would make the club a couple of million quid - chump change instead, the club could throw a few quid at building things that make neighbourhoods decent places to live and then let local operators run them (everything from a youth club to the new Hooters, but not another s*** social housing scheme)

    if she’s asking you to miss the game then out of respect for yourself and all humanity you must divorce her at once tell her now so that you don’t have an annoying task hanging over you while you’re trying to watch the game

    If there is any chance of ‘breaking the Chiesa chicken and egg fitness cycle’ (possible title for a self help book) then maybe he could play 30 mins against Newcastle and start our CL games and the League Cup final high stakes stuff but if/when Jota gets injured….then what?

    I think he probably did I can only think he was very polite about it and not pushy enough the only parallel I can think of was when that Korean Airlines pilot kept politely asking for a landing slot asap as he was running out of fuel but kept getting fobbed off by air traffic control and then the fuel ran out and the plane crashed and hundreds were killed

    I’m almost crying with frustration when I watch Nunez play its not just the finishing, its all aspects of his decision making and watching him calling for the ball when he’s comfortably offside but we’re stuck with him now
