See this is the bit that does not add up to me. If we were so short of cash or wanting to show a prosective buyer you would demand the season ticket money as early as possible. Average of £700 at 28000 ST's is 20 million. Thats a lot if your short of cash or want to demonstrate the financial strength of the club. Also the reduced cost ran out in mid June last year!

Purslow was with the team at the hotel till at least 2pm maybe 230pm as I was there too. He then left for a "lunch meeting" after a jog in full LFC kit (nob). Does this fit in with when the timings of th Perez meeting was! I believe he was with team when they travelled as he commented on the "team spirit and Xabi visiting players" the night before

I blagged my way into VIP bit of the Lille ground and Owen was in there discussing "the lack of formula" in the team with Mr Purslow. Make of that what you will. Seems a top guy but maybe Rafa is dancing with the said evil man

We should turn our backs from the directors box for the first 10 mins of the game. This way its clear its the board we are angry with. It gives us all chance to tell the day tripper next to you to turn away. BUT also if we sing our nuts off during the 10 min the team is still being supported. -

We did not judge Rafa over the first 10/11 games when we were going well but we judge him over the last 10/11 games. Reserve your judgement till 38 games have been played. I am gutted about not not getting more points in recent weeks but we gained points early on where we did not expect them. Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain. Some times you need to force the door down. We have played around teams like Stoke, Fulham, West Ham and the MOST NEGATIVE OF ALL Everton this season. Again the goal came through the middle yesterday. This is why when Stevie and Torres gets on the ball we get excited because they drive for the area whether its a pass or attacking the defenders.
