Great turnaround from the lad...still needs to find some consistency but hopefully his new confidence will ensure that. Loved how he tried to run through some small spaces with the ball - really showed how much confidence is needed in his game. Being in a CL semi final will be a great experience for him. -

our three biggest rivals have fallen into 2 categories in the transfer market they either buy big name established players who are generally going to be successes (Chelsea and Mancs) or they realise they dont have the funds and find the best youngsters around and develop them. Sadly we are not in either category...we seem to float in between the two

perhaps im being a little fickle but he really changed my opinion on him today. Ive found him extremely frustrating and really didnt think he was good enough, but today he was a totally different player....thank heavens he's gone up a few gears
