Rome's Stadio Olimpico will stage the European Champion Clubs' Cup final for the fourth time this season as the UEFA Champions League reaches its climax in the Italian capital on Wednesday 27 May. Finals It will be the eighth European Cup final to be held in Italy, as Milan's San Siro Stadium was the venue for 1965, 1970 and 2001 finals while in 1991 FK Crvena Zvezda defeated Olympique de Marseille at Bari's Stadio San Nicola. The 2010 final will be played at Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu in its new date on a Saturday.

I know where you're coming from, but I know lots of lads up here (NE England) who think the same applies to us. When you're standing in a pub and they point incidents out to you, it's hard to argue sometimes. I would agree that the more succesful teams are given the benefit of the doubt more, but that's as far as I'd go. (btw, thanks to the mod who corrected my error from 9.30 this morning...no excuses...just a big head from last night)

I've had no time, interest or sympathy for peachy arce since a year or two after he joined us. I don't believe him, don't trust him and won't miss him. Galatasaray would do very well indeed to get anything out of him.

How much closer to the title can we get this season? Will we close the gap? Will we win it? I'm reluctant to brag that we'll win it, as past experience proves how arduous and difficult that is. Hope springs eternal though, and the very least I want this year is runners up spot in a really tight contest with single digit difference. I know you'll all agree with me.
