    Ferguson made a habit of targeting the best players from his competitors. Some he got (Van Persie, Ferdinand, Cantona, Berbatov etc), some he didn't (Shearer)

    Isak is a better "facilitator" than both of those. And he's quicker, more skillful and scores more more goals. One of the top clubs in PL or Europe will get him, he's not staying at Newcastle forever. He's perfect for Arsenal or Utd. Chelsea will no doubt be looking. We should be all over it.

    I miss Jorg. Never saw him, and I'm not even sure he actually existed, but I miss him big time.

    He was poor all game. Everything good Utd did first half and second came down his side. Keanes comment about him signing for Tranmere not Madrid were at halt time. He was already having a stinker.

    The best centre backs look ordinary. No last minute sliding tackles, crazy flare ups, just read the game well and glide round. He's clearly a quality player as demonstrated internationally at the Euros.

    Simple point really. I only think he's good as a sub for us, and at £85m that makes him an expensive sub. Ergo, get rid.

    I think Darwin's best moments are when he's changed a game as a sub. If he's happy being that and playing in the cups then great. Bit of an expensive sub, but that's the reality. He's not good enough to be our starting number 9

    I still think none of the three were signing new contracts until they could see what was going to follow Klopp. I don't blame either. We could have had Amorim and been really s***.

    True, but nobody is looking great at the moment. It's always a really tough part of the season and we've come through relatively unscathed.
