  1. I think the thing with Chiesa is that if we can get him properly fit he'll be one of the most value for money signings ever made. His talent level is incredible. It's a big "if" granted, but if his body can handle it and we can get him where we need him, he's going to be ace. Given the price we paid, I'm more than happy to be patient on this one.
  2. Kerkez just scored a belter
  3. Yellow polka dot bikini
  4. Not a lot happening anywhere is there. I'd argue City, Arsenal and Utd are all more desperate than we are too, as much we'd like new names.
  5. Has anyone signed anyone of note yet? Spurs got that young keeper that's playing out of desperation. Who else has signed for the top sides? As much as we need / want new players, I'd argue other clubs around us are more desperate right now, including Arsenal.... but nobody is signing anyone from what I can see. The Jan window needs binning off. In fact I'd get rid of all windows and go back to what it was. It was better for all concerned. Less pressure, less noise.
  6. Number 9 against that defence just didn't suit. He's mostly fine on the left
  7. A lot of stick for Diaz last night. Thnk we can all agree that's not the type of game to play him number 9 though I understand why Slot did given management of Jota and Nunez suspension. In that situation maybe Gakpo 9 and Diaz left would have been better? Diaz is an odd one, loads of effort, but quite lightweight. Been trying to think what it is that really frustrates me about him and why I don't actually rate him.that highly overall... Then the failed pass to Gakpo nailed it for me. When he has the ball he always has his head down, doesn't see passes early enough and he's actually not that good at providing a nicely weighted pass when he does eventually see them. When you're in the team as a creator I'd say that's a pretty critical trait you need.
  8. Looks like his legs have gone now. He keeps falling over when changing direction
  9. Going to Arsenal apparently
  10. Yeah, he was more than a top finisher, he was one of the best there's ever been. Always found the corners of the goal / side netting, from anywhere.
  11. Nah, Havertz went down like he'd been decapitated, then as soon as the melee started he jumped straight back up again. ARS are the biggest cheats in the league, all in Arteta's image. He will hold them back ultimately
  12. If Danns gets on the pitch in this one it means we're already getting pumped.
  13. Interesting side note, what will Bradley do now..
  14. Slot has been preparing for this game for ages . He'll have something cunning planned
  15. It would be odd if Kvaradonna came, as much as I like him. He plays wide left. We have loads of those.
  16. Thought he looked unfit. Illness explains it. Pleased for him, he clearly wants to do well here
  17. True though isn't it. I'm not saying I don't rate him or don't like him, I just don't agree with this "he's great" moniker that he's being labeled with above. He clearly isn't, as when our midfield is fit (current and past) he doesn't start. No biggie. I think it's really important to have local lads in the squad/team, and I want him to stay and play a role. I also think he needs to improve quite a bit so the Chelsea game is not a one-off.
  18. It's the reading of the game and positional sense, along with natural instincts that make it hard for players to make such a change. He could play there, but doubt he'd get close to Macca levels.
  19. He's a massive Madrid fan. If we get him, make sure his contract length is healthy so when they come calling we get a fortune from them.
  20. His mate will be here in the summer also
