  1. We are completely overplaying them now.. Xabi and Momo bossing the midfield..
  2. Agreed, can't really complain, but the ref has been awful today, Cahill should've had a red card, possible peno on Crouch and a whole bunch of pointless cards..
  3. Now that's fecking stupid, he knew he was gonna be tackling all game and to have a yellow card on his back so early in the game is just a disaster
  4. Cahill has had 2 far worse tackles, one on Sissoko and that challange on Gerrard was disgraceful.. A pretty bad tackle, but he didn't mean anything by it, was a little late and his feet where always down.. Stupid to have had a yellow card before, no idea what he did though.. but that tackle wasn't that bad IMO, at least not compared to many worse in derbys before, and Cahill's tackles in this game..
  5. I thought Alves was mainly a right/wing back, not a winger? Looking more and more likely Rafa wants to play 3-5-2 with wing backs.. my only worry about that though would be Stevie Finnan, surely him, Kromkamp(Recently bought and more attacking then Finnan) and Alves(IF, and then also recently bought) can't all stay happy sharing 1 position?
  6. I half expected Agger to play, with Hyypia playing countless games in a row, including a game 2 days ago.. but still a great line-up and awesome news on Momo, unbelivable
  7. A profit of 350 quid, which will do nicely
  8. 3-nil.. draw written all over it my a***
  9. Agreed, hearing the media hype about Chelsea reaching 100 points or whatever is bad, but Man Utd with their amazing "comeback" in the end taking the title from Chelsea would be unberable, also would be their 16th.. Don't think they have any chance mind, Chelsea might be on bad form but they still always seem to manange to win, and they need to loose about 4 IF the Mancs can win the rest of their games, and they have a few hard ones left.. including chelsea.. so..
  10. Looking good.. looking good.
  11. That's what I'm afraid of, a fecking draw, but I've never bet on a game ending in a draw in my life, just don't do it, pretty sure i'm gonna go for Watford winning this one.. just wanted to be sure that there wasn't anything major wrong before i made the bet
  12. Was thinking about putting a little sum on Watford.. they beat them 3-nil earlier in the season, S'ton with a new manager, 4-5 players out injured, Watford pushing hard for promotion unbeaten for 11 games i think while S'ton are near bottom.. Anyone following the Championship? Dont really follow it at alot, just saw Watford on good odds and the circumstances are looking good.. anyone know anything which would make me wanna cancel it? S'ton superb at home.. their best player returning from injury etc. ?
  13. Clearly a handball, but there was no way for the linesman to see it, Drogba stood behind the man, not that I'm complaining, Mourinho going bananas on the sideline What the f*** was Crossley doing though..
  14. At first I really wanted Cissé on, just to try to score early and get something, but the only logical thing to do was putting Hamann on, cause he's the best in the buisness when it comes to stopping players like Kaká, we might not have a massive chance to win it, but at least we could keep our dignity - having the nerve to put him on is another thing though.. However if i knew that Finnan was injured i would have probably done it, but before that Rafa was gonna put Didi on for Traore, so credit where it's do. If Finnan wouldn't have been injured i probably wouldn't have put Didi on, but i would definetly have had him in the starting line-up though, and was pretty shocked when he wasn't. But it took guts to admit he was wrong, don't think many other managers would have done the same, I know a certain Mourinho who would have put players like Huth and Kezman upfront, simply manic and possibly even use all subs in half-time..
  15. As long as Traore isn't playing CB I'm a happy camper... Any early team news?
  16. Please tell me you are joking? Of course maybe we could rest, but putting 4-5 youngsters, 16-17 years old with no real footy experience against Newcastle which have been on great form recently would just be plain nuts, maybe Anderson and 1-2 on the bench but starting 4 is just insane, and even if we were secure with the top spot, almost none of the youngsters are ready.. only about 3-4 possibly good enough
  17. From what I've seen of him he's a very good player, haven't seen him play very often but still a few times, from what I saw he was very very good in attack, Carlos'ish. Haven't seen him being tested in defence but from what I've heard he's a very good player, wether he would fit in here and wether he would be better then Riise in his form over the past few weeks i don't know but he's much better then Traore and Warnock for sure. A goal scored by him in a 3-0 win against Mallorca, hardly a fab goal but the only thing i could find
  18. Xabi was the only player really up to 'standard' Stevie was pretty good although he missed a few easy passes and Finnan was okay, but the again he's never worse then 'okay' Reina: 6,5 Not at fault at either goal, but didn't do anything fantastic either, did handle it well when they hit the bar though. Finnan: 6,5 solid, still probly his worst game for us in a while, even if he was pretty good. Carra: 5,5 Let's face it, he was not good yesterday, maybe not awful and possible expected of him to play worse with Djimi and Warnock besides him, but that doesn't change the fact he wasn't good yesterday. Traore: 4,5 Didn't really make any big mistakes that were very costly but he did nothing good what-so-ever and was close to making mistakes costly of goals, and in both goals he could have done better. Warnock: 6 Thought he was pretty decent considering he had Simao on him and Traore beside him, not perfect but no so bad either. Garcia: 5 Awesome first 20-30 minutes but completely hid the rest of the game. Xabi: 8,5 Great game, he was fantastic, by far the best player on the pitch, was perfect in defence and did his jobs in attacks well to. Gerrard: 7 Under par but still our second best player on the pitch. Kewell: 6 Thought he was pretty decent, alot better then Garcia anyhow when he was taking off, although also one of his worst games in a while. Crouch: 5 Had a stinker, rate him alot but he needs to get back in form and start bloody scoring, missed an unforgivable sitter. Nando: 5 Thought he looked very lively to begin with but then lost it and didn't threaten the goal at all which was his duty, however i didn't think he did much bad, he was just very tired and his confidence his probably very low atm. Subs: Hamann: 6 Did well but didn't have any massive impact on the game. Cissé: 5,5 Thought he was okay, he did well in defence by running back like a mad man and spurring the crowd and the team on, however his constant urge to go ALL THE TIME on the fricking right side is annyoing as feck,. Fowler: 5,5 May not have many touches but he didn't do anything bad and scored a goal, he was usually well placed and couldn't do much more..
  19. TEAMS CONFIRMED: -------------------Reina Finnan-Carra-Traore-Warnock Garcia-Gerrard-Alonso-Kewell ---------Crouch-Nando Bench: Dudek, Hyypia, Cissé, Fowler, Hamann, Anderson, Barragán.
  20. C'mon, all hope's not lost.. Even if it sounds fecking awful right now don't forget both Traore and Warnock have had some awesome games in the past, they could easily be superb today, the team needs us and we should not just sit there crying for our unluck in injury's, we had much worse last year and we can easily cope through this.. C'MON REDMEN
  21. If Traore plays: 2-1 to Benfica and Traore will revice a red card. If Traore doesn't play: 4-1 to Liverpool, Anderson will come on in the 85th and will be brilliant scoring 1 goal, Fowler will score the other three.
  22. Morientes, Crouch, Fowler, Cissé, none have scored in the league this year.. Sinama the first Liverpool striker to score in 2006 in the PL.
  23. My god the atmosphere is AWFUL, you can barely hear anything at all... We've been playing very well though.. 82% ball possesion last 5 mins.
  24. Wayne Bridge injured again.. Carra coming on in left back.. better not pick up an injury here.
  25. Found this site the other day, you only have to pay 5 quid for a 3 year membership, supposed to show all the games in the big leagues, reserve football, friendly's, + all sorts of other events on TV.. I've seen a few of these sites and many have been scams but this looks pretty decent.. you can't get caught that badly cause you pay by paypal and the fee is only 5 pounds.. pretty sure i'm gonna try it but has anyone tried this site before? It's here
