Thing is though, if he's deciding he can't play unless he's 100% then the whole "what if I play and make it worse, then I'm out for ages" thing is a bit of a moot point because, by not wanting to play without being 100%, he's out for ages anyway.
I'd play Milner for this, not because he's been great but because the likes of Bolasie will be coming down our left hand side & Moreno might need a bit of help there. Milner is likely to track his man & run all day. Not sure someone like Lallana gives the same kind of protection.
He is a keen cyclist and has his own blog, including pictures which make him look even more of a bellend... http://www.lloydswellbeingcentre.co.uk/clives-cycling-blog-39/
Villa hit the post. Even when they do muster up a half decent effort, luck goes against them. Villa shot hits a defender and deflects in. 11 minutes to go. Spurs will probably go and get another straight from kickoff.
One of the problems with this is that our coefficient is so shyte that even if we do finish in the top 4, we'll probably be in pot 4 or 3 at best in the CL, meaning a fecking hard group to qualify from. That scenario will never change as long as we keep treating the Uefa Cup like sh*t.
Reckon we'll get one or two in January, but that they'll actually be good and of first team standard. And i do think we've a good chance of taking Gundogen.
I wonder whether Timo Werner is worth a punt. Hasnt done a huge amount yet, but i think he has potential and the right manager could do something with him. Dunno how much he'd cost though.
Have you really got nothing better to do than stalk/hound somebody you dont know around an internet forum? I genuinely feel sorry for you for having such an empty and pointless life. Get a hobby or something. Or better still, leave the house and meet real people.
Haha he described the Harris era as being in the 80s. I believe Harris' Chelsea career ended in 1980. That lad is desperately trying to show how he's not a post 2004 supporter. Which would be fine if he wasn't a) clueless about his eras and b) about 19.
I didn't think he'd fit our style at all. The biggest difference IMO is Klopp. His style isn't Rodgers' style. Under BR, not that Benteke wouldn't have been good, but his main attributes would've been wasted. I think Klopp's arrival changes everything where Benteke & his LFC career is concerned.
We need both. We lack creativity in the midfield but equally so, if a chance is created, I'm not backing Origi to score it. Ings is out for a long time and Sturridge basically forever. We only have Benteke, so we do need another striker in Jamuary.
He was good at his peak, but even then was slow. When you add the cumulative ageing affect & what impact that may have had on his energy & work rate, I couldn't see him being much of an on-field asset in top flight English football now. Coaching is another story. I don't know what "it" is but obviously pace helps. Of course you can be a good player without it but all things considered, I don't think a 35 year old Kuyt would now offer us a huge amount on the pitch & therefore I don't think there's a huge amount of benefit in the idea of re-signing him now. But I know you're not suggesting we do that.
It was annoying that Texeira couldn't be selected for Europe. Should defo play this. Reckon the lad has got something. Absofeckinglutely. This may not be a popular opinion but if we are going to rest Moreno here, surely it's the exact scenario where you'd use Jose Enrique. We're paying his wages and he's not injured, is he? Can't think of a more suitable situation to utilise him.
Seems like Sherwood is still hanging in. Bits in the media saying the next game is must win or Villa will boot him. Having Moyes back would be a bit of a laugh.
