Those games do indeed happen and today was one of them, but we still could've won it despite playing cack. And that's what the best teams do. At the very least, if you can't win the game, don't lose it. The reason the best teams win those kind of games despite playing sh*t is they have difference-makers who step up & win you the game with a moment of quality. We don't need have enough that do this with any consistency. We need more. This season is a great opportunity. If we decide not to do much/any business next month, that'll be a mistake. We have a great chance to achieve this season, sticking to what we've got could scupper that.

I actually think Pedro's a really good player who'd flourish in a fluid side with mobility & playing with confidence & cohesion. Bit of sh*tty luck for him that he chose Chelsea.

I know the mancs make shedloads of money and all that. But could you eally see them forking out that kind of cash on one player? Would it even be available to spend after the £300m odd that LVG has already been given? Seems a step too far IMO.
