  1. I assumed that was taken from a parody account, but then i read the 'official' bit of it.... Lukaku has had a great season so far. But he's very rubbish at being able to tell when he's offside.

  6. He doesn't, though. Seen Gerrard say, when questioned about the best manager he's ever played under, "Tactically, Rafa".
  7. That fella who's reporting it has a reliable track record, I believe. Hard to think why Barca would want to sell him mid season, mind.
  8. We dont need loads of number 10s but we definitely could do with upgrading on one or two of the ones we have. Never happen, but who wouldnt be happy to take Isco and ship out Lallana?
  9. Nonsense. He got his foot to the ball, he didnt go through the man in the conventional sense. Remarkable to think, given some decisions these days, but it's still a contact sport....
  10. Sturridge been in full training for 2 weeks & is 'fit' for this but Klopp not risking him, according to Bascombe. No Henderson, Milner, Sturridge, Origi, I'd go with: Mig, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Coutinho, Ibe, Firmino, Benteke Subs: Bogdan, Kolo, Smith, Allen, Teixeira, Lallana I cant even think of a 7th sub. Brannagan maybe? Or Jerome Sinclair, but i guess he wouldnt be an option.
  11. The worst one was Emre Can's booking. He made a brilliant tackle, it didn't even resemble a foul. Let alone a booking. But re the Benteke one, it says a lot about the massive inconsistencies that go on, that he gets booked for that while Nathan Ake gets a goal for the same thing.
  12. One additional point, which was massively re-enforced last night. Kevin Friend is an abysmally sh*t referee. Even by the inept standards of PL officials. I'm so glad we managed to win last night's game in spite of his utter incompetence. Hoping that, having dodged the bullet last night, we dont have him again for a good while. He's an utter shambles of a ref, he doesnt just have the odd useless game, it's just his standard level every single time.
  13. I didnt remotely believe Klopp when he was saying that he's happy with our keepers and wouldnt be targeting one. But he's still being very emphatic on this and i'm now concerned that he actually means it.
  14. Haha, i didnt mean it affects anything. I just meant that's often the slap in the face that fate deals us - we start thinking a few games ahead, saying 'if we win this, and this...' etc - and then inevitably, it goes t*ts up in the first game of that sequence. Obviously nothing we say on here actually influences those results, I wasnt suggesting that. Luckily on this occasion, we actually beat Sunderland
  15. It's usually when we start looking at things like this, that we mess up the next game.
  16. Mig, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Henderson, Coutinho, Lallana, Benteke
  17. Depends who it is. Some of our ex players are as clueless as some of our current ones.
  18. Sales for the new stand = season tickets? Corporate ones? Curious to know how much they're selling whatever they're selling, for...
  19. The Mancs will single handedly ruin both of those trebles.
  20. They're a laughable organisation.
  21. Yeah, I agree with that. Right now, I think they'll finish above us.
  22. I hope I'm wrong but I think I can see the script here. Loads of men behind the ball, we struggle to make things happen apart from passing it left to right and vice versa, but not into real wide areas & slowly, so as not to exploit any areas of space which may briefly open up. We'll stick to central areas, trying to thread needles with 9 blue shirts between the ball & their goal. They'll break 4 or 5 times and score once or twice from these breaks. Maybe throw in a set piece goal for them too. Just looked at the odds for this. We're just about odds-on at 19/20. Leicester are 11/4 and so is the draw. I find those prices astonishing.
  23. I reckon you're right. Let's hope 60 gets you top four. I can't see us getting that much more.
  24. This is exactly the agenda driven sh*t Sky always come up with. The other day, after Mourinho was sacked, they put up a graphic comparing Pedro's stats for the season with De Bruyne's. It was utterly irrelevant that this random stats comparison had nothing to do with the main news story - the message was clear, they only didn't say it outright. I'm not bothered about Chelsea but it's exactly what Sky do. They drive their chosen agenda while trying to disguise it as 'insight' and 'analysis'. The brainless sheep brigade that makes up a large portion of their audience just swallows it & that's how nonsensical bullsh*t becomes what's seen as factual.
