Skrtel has been poor too but you wonder whether that's nervousness at playing alongside Lovren. Thing is, I still expect Lovren to play against Norwich. Sakho may only get in if we play 3 at the back.
Lallana's post match interview has taught me a few things... Apparently it was a good performance. Lallana apparently played well and apart from when we didn't and they scored, we defended well. Brilliant.
Even when Ibe looks like taking on his man, he never seems to fully commit to it. Dunno if he's timid or what, but he has the pace to skin his man, and seemingly doesn't want to or lacks the confidence.
If he made penetrating runs or went down the channels, that might give his teammates an option to pass it to him in an area where he could actually do something meaningful.
I dunno about the headless chicken reference but I know what he means, I'd like to see Origi being a bit more purposeful & actually do something which might hurt them rather than dropping deep and playing meaningless lay-offs.
