Before the Chelsea game, Cole came in "pitchside". He came in at the corner of the Centenary/Anfield Rd and walked behind the goal and in front of the Main Stand and into the tunnel. I guess it's the quickest route to their cars avoiding any fans that might be loitering.

You can see clearly on the replay that he's not even looking at the ball. Looking at Ngog's leg and in the background, the bloody linesman was looking right at it and didn't flag.

Really good. It amazes me that the media are only focussing on the results angle and saying he needs more time but failing to pick up, particularly, point 9 as perhaps the main reason for fans' unrest.

Just a thought, but for years most of these players have had Rafa barking orders at them constantly throughout the game, telling them what to do. Now, they have Hodgson, who sets them up poorly and then leaves them to get on with it. I know they're professionals and paid bucket loads, but maybe they've forgotten how to think for themselves? As I say, just a thought

Hasn't 3 points for a win been a relatively new introduction (80's?) or am I remembering that wrong. Do your calculations take that into account? (not wanting to diminish Rafa's performance this season)

Just called them, they said if they don't arrive by matchday to take my credit card I paid with to the ticket office on matchday. Bit of a pain. Fingers crossed they arrive today/tomorrow. Nice to know I'm not the only one though Sion

I booked tickets for the Bolton game over the phone and hadn't received them when I went to work this morning. They could be sat at home right now but I just want to check if it's usual for the ticket office to send them out at the last minute?

thank you so much for that tip. Only problem is, that's the earliest train. (I'm coming from Derby) I guess, if necessary, it can be walked in about 45 mins? I've never actually timed it but usually walk into town after the match.

I'm going to the Bolton game in 2 weeks, which is a 2pm kick off. There's a train which gets to Liverpool at 13:08. What's my chances of getting to the game on time if I take a taxi, or am I better to get a taxi part way and then walk?
