Membership costs £30 a year and without it you've got pretty much no chance of getting to the game now. But you don't necessarily need prior attendance for match tickets. All tickets up until 31st December went on sale in July. Most tickets are now sold. However, as with Sunderland, some tickets might become available a day or two before the match. I think this is due to season tickets holders "returning" match tickets if they're unable to go.

How on earth do you do that! It's just luck. I was on the website from when tickets went on sale (8:15) - the page automatically reloads. Nothing to do with getting in early. Should have staggered the various tickets over different days. I got in on Tuesday for Swansea tickets but no chance today.

been trying to connect since 8:15. Also been phoning periodically. Phone lines now say only restrcited & severely restricted available for Sunderland. Suspect there'll be no joy with the other matched. Absolute bloody joke. Probably means relatively few fans will go to most games and the majority get nothing.

It took me ages to get in this morning and when I did only a few tickets left in the Kop. That was for Swansea so not overly optimistic about Thursday's sale and bigger matches. Will be a bit peeved if the membership proves just as much of a pain as previous ticketing system.
