  1. Singing the Torres song was cathartic. One of the best songs we've had and was a shame we had to stop singing it. Enjoyable match all round, appreciated for what it was. A pen (or two) for the captain was inevitable. Great to see Pepe getting his goodbye, and nice return for the others too.
  2. it is annoying the way Luis always takes the "It wasn't me" approach. Just admit you're a crazy loon and look to change your behaviour.
  3. my mrs has had hers, but I haven't had mine
  4. he's a good shot stopper, but doesn't appear to organise the defence very well. You can argue that's not his job, but the keeper can see things the players maybe can;t. Reina was always b******ing his defenders, and they kept loads of clean sheets. I rarely see Mignolet shouting at those in front of him. If he's our long term keeper, I hope he develops this part of his game.
  5. Could do with some more of this magic from West Ham on the 11th... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1372472/West-Ham-Man-United-1995-Ludek-Miklosko.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/6627803.stm All 3 of Man City's opponents (currently) have something to play for, if that means anything.
  6. This happened. There was a £5 fee to stay on the list. You obviously paid it
  7. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26852466 Real will be happy, but interesting that action has been taken against such a big club.
  8. just read this on BBC. It's absolutely mental, although maybe more weight to certain refereeing decisions over the years.
  9. it also ignores form. We've won 4 of our last 5 away PL games...
  10. sorry if this has already been posted... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/8742624/Transfer-news-Luis-Suarez-staying-at-Liverpool-agent-tells-Sky-Sports-News
  11. gotta beat spurs next week...
  12. So Torres has been telling his teammates he'd rather be back in Liverpool. Ok.....

    HANDBALL!

that player's arm behaves in the same way Suarez's did when the ball hit his. You don't see that with deliberate handballs.

    HANDBALL!

This "his hand moved towards the ball" thing I disagree with too. It did, but I don't believe it was to hit the ball with it. Look at the still picture on the previous page. His left arm is in the same position as the right. Both arms were up as a consequence of his running action. There wasn't enough time for him to consciously think about handballing.

    HANDBALL!

it's the movement of his arm after the ball has hit it that make me think it wasn't deliberate. If it was deliberate he'd have more strength in his arm to stop his arm flying back in the manner that it does. Then his reaction after is pure frustration that it hit his arm and prevented him getting the goal. He turns and sees the refs given it and embarrassingly celebrates. Honestly can't see how anyone thinks it;s deliberate.
