whilst I am not defending the performance I would disagree with the narrative that we fail to perform against top teams. I think we matched them in the first half and were unlucky with the c*** Afkinson to disallow the goal. At 1-1 things would definitely have been different. However the change in tactics in the 2nd half totally confused the team and we were screwed. We have known that the midfiedl lacks legs but even that decision would not be an easy one to take because our worse performer was our greatest player ever. It was just a bad day at the office and we will have time in January to put these things right.
