prolly been said elsewhere but, despite obviously being f***ed off with his own-goal & the points it lost us, i still was impressed & pleased to see xabi's response to it. no, not the hands over his face and the fall to his knees - his absolute f***ing determination to make up for it. his drive, sheer will, his free kick etc. and he very very nearly did it too. all in the space of 4-5 minutes. second only to ste in terms of the ability to make something happen through sheer will-power. so, yes, his passing still gives me a semi, and yes, i'm still a fully paid-up member of the xabi gay-in society
