  1. Chelsea side looks very decent, on paper at least.
  2. f*** sake. That’s what you are on for Jota, may as well play Nunez for everything else he offers otherwise.
  3. Blimey. The moaning is right on from the first minute this season then.
  4. Trent leaving on a free would be an almighty f*** up. That’s £80-£120M lost that FSG won’t/can’t make up. Essentially, a couple of transfer windows worth of net spend. No doubt, if he is off, he’ll be injured around December onwards. See also Salah and VDV. Looks a bit grim for this season.
  5. Would Edward’s take the job on that premise? Has he been give some shares in FSG because, if not, i can’t see why he would come back to work under those conditions.
  6. Oh, fair enough. Sorry Paul. He is pretty much the opposite of what I’m hoping we spend most of our money on which is a very good, big, defensive midfielder
  7. Unless you have posted this for a laugh, what is the point? This ‘Japanese football’ has 300 odd followers. I hope all your other twitter posts don’t have that level of reliability?!
  8. How long does football outlive this constant stream of pathetic decisions
  9. They’ll be saying he should be in the centre because he’s the best in the world in about 15mins.
  10. So do 99% of people posting in this thread from what I’ve just read.
  11. Real shame - probably as good a midfielder as anyone in the last decade on his day, fully fit.... An extreme case but does show the fallacy of buying players 'cheaper' with a poor injury record.
  12. Unfortunately, that ship has probably sailed. Much like Mbappe, he'd see out the year and cash in. I'd prefer him to sign up. Be a poor start to Slots reign if he can't excite Trent about what a future at LFC looks like.
  13. This is probably a conversation that will happen before he will sign a new contract. Doesn't appear to consider him self a right back either. I'd play him on the right of a midfield 3 but with instruction to work his ass off!
  14. Oh. Just me that thinks it's all gone off the boil a bit!
  15. Everything you say is spot on but the big picture for the media, viewer numbers, must start to drop. It's been poor for a while but this season i think might finally turn good fans away. City winning a 4th in a row with a cloud of charges hanging over them, whilst other clubs are punished seemingly straight away is not a good perception. The joy vacuum that VAR has become and the talentless to the point of seemingly corrupt, PGMOL contribution is very off putting. The buffoonery that stands for pundits now isn't enjoyable and a huge character like Jurgen stepping away seemingly worn down by it all. Whether they realise it or not yet, everyone will miss him. Viewing figures must be in decline - and then they will turn on City to rescue the 'product' Hopefully
  16. The media will change their tune when it starts to see interest falling. It’s possible apathy starts to creep into the premier league viewers, those outside of its core fans getting bored of Man City and PGMOL.
  17. He’s woeful. Zero end product.
  18. And Edward’s is rubbing it in. His spiky hair, slight beard and glasses, which he’ll no doubt put oranges lens in as he grows ever more powerful. Full on Bono. Actually, I’m disliking him now.
  19. Why are so many people seemingly desperate for these chaps to be s***?!
  20. It just boils down to people with a glass half empty outlook. Paul McC ought to try a bit of optimism
  21. And he’d have to hope Salah and his agent are stupid. Plus, if Edwards pulled that off, he’d probably alienate a lot of the players who would think it’s poor form and start his new era from a point of distrust. In other words, Salah isn’t signing an extension unless he’s staying.
  22. I doubt he signs an extension. More likely that he sees out his year and earns an absolute fortune on a free. Be great of he would sign an extension, he looks like another Ronaldo in terms of supreme fitness and therefore be good for another few years. Our one and only proven forward.
  23. Be glad to see the back of him. Didn't think he would lift a finger this season and he didn't.
  24. If he does stay maybe he could do a job in the front line but wide if we still play with 3, but don't want to see him as the central striker. So frustrating watching the chances fall to the worst finisher.
