    There is no doubt that we have over performed for years. And right now, we are under performing. Maybe the over bit burnt them out and some of the players are just waiting for next chapter.

    Blame the players first and foremost because they are playing well below their best. With that said, wE aren’t collectively changing all of them, so whatever has demotivated them needs sorting. That might be all of the things listed; the lack of midfield options, the loss of edwards, the salary structure, FSG, Klopps tactics, the back room staff, the World Cup and so on. It doesn’t appear that a shake up is going on, more just quietly hoping and fingers crossed.

    Well, he is miles better than this and that drop-off spreads when you are the de facto leader.

    Trying to think of possible causes for the decline in our ‘world class’ players. Maybe Jurgen has articulated this as a transition season with new players and systems to come in but these chaps, after lasts seasons near Quadruple, are not bought into anything other than instant success now? What started as transition will likely be a full rebuild.
