    I am worried that they will now sack Ole and sell Maguire and replace them both with Bruce as player/manager. That would improve them instantly.

    Sad news indeed. I am not a regular poster and when I visit I mostly enjoy reading the discussions going on. His posts were always posts I enjoyed reading. YNWA Vic.

    He has the incredible ability to stop suddenly and speed up again a split second later. In the meantime the defenders are flying all over the place.

    Toughest game he has played in so far and he did OK. Still looks to do the right thing. He is going to be some player.

    That's a surprise as he was involved in training earlier.

    Started off very well with a couple of good turns and passes. Then lost the ball easily too often.

    His brother Christian played in the Premier League...........here in Malta. Lasted about half a season. Last seen in the 4th or 5th tier of Italian football.

    We are better than all three other teams, but Milan and Atleti especially have enough pedigree and experience to give us a hard time, especially away. Porto will not be easy either.

    Is Lovren injured or didn't he make the squad?

    Baggio overrated? At international level he was a stand out player for Italy in 2 WCs, near single handedly taking them to the 1994 final. Did well in 1998 too. At club level he never seemed to settle well and have a good relationship with his coaches though. Brilliant talent nonetheless.
