A mate has booked a trip via Budapest, leaving Tuesday back Saturday with accomodation for ?700 odd plus tax. It was in a Travel agents in Dundalk. No ticket obviously. Cheap as I've seen.

Promised myself after Istanbul that I'd never miss a Euro final again, little did I know it was a round the corner (should never have doubted) Only chance of ticket is through a package but if its United they will be through the roof and probably mixed trips. Off to Italy for the week next week with the missus and fly back Saturday and onto Liverpool for the Charlton game A in and out job would do. Don't think the travel agents will have anything out till after tonights tie.
  3. Can see why Rafa played Riise at LB rather than LM. His physical presence was super all evening and he let that diving t*** have it a few times. One of Riises best LFC games. Carra was exceptional by his own exceptional standards. His deft chip over the bar was Maradona like
  4. Supporting this club has no limits, nothing should surprise and amaze but I never fail to be amazed or surprised. Credit to the players who once again rose to the occassion and never threw in the towel or doubted themselves. Javier was immense, kuyt ran himself into the crowd, Sir Carra of Liverpool....words would never be enough. Agger, Riise, both unreal. I could go on.... The crowd....YNWA.
  5. Pennat must be palying!!!! It was a ploy to make Ashley Cole jealous and fly into a dangerous tackle, get sent off and allow pennant rain havoc on Chelsea. All hail Rafa!!
  6. Thats very harsh on Big Sami, I thought he was doing well this year considering he hasn't got a regular run!!

  9. STONE HIM!!! I love lynch mobs.
  10. Paul Merson blow it out your a*** you smug piece of s**** Its On. Its On. Its On. Its On.
  11. I can't write...for sure. Well the keeper gets the stick when the goals go in, so he should get the credit when they don't.
  12. Well considering his early season dip where he was nearly lynched, he has turned it round. It must be a dream to play with that defence though and they must also that a lot of credit.
  13. I thought that as well, but off camera Bellamy was whacking him on the leg with a 6 iron.
  14. As for Crouch, I can only remember him touching it once! Sack Crouch!
  15. I do wonder what Paul Merson thought of the dispaly after his smug laugh at out chances after the Carling Cup tatical match throwing V Arsenal.
  16. Talk of Arbela starting with Finnan right side of midfield. Would seem sensible for a Euro away tie.
  17. You also forgot a real silly one Tottenham Hotspurs. I know, its too daft.

By the looks of it Eto is just about to come on for Barca. Looks like he'll be back for the CL match. Barca have looked toothless ( no pun intended) up front without Ronaldinho.

  20. Benitez just called the Bluesh*te a "small club" who come here to defend. Cheered me up. Poor stuff today, Bellamys chnace would have totally changed the game but thats football. Surprsied Crouch lasted so long as he was very ineffective and Stubbs & Co had him sussed all day.
  21. Has he fallen out with Villareal or is he just injured? He was at the game with Real Madrid and Villareal on Saturday night? Commentator was making references to the crowd having banners pleading with him to stay, while he had his kids in Villareal scarfs and gear. Is he out of contract at year end?
  22. Anyone see sky sports yesterday and the review show with Kamara and McCafferty? Jason McAteer and Don Hutchinson where on it and they discussed Lucas Neil turning done Liverpool. Both McAteer and Hutchinson said it was a money move and that looking back on his career he'll regret knocking back Liverpool as the bog clubs only come knocking once in a career. McAteer said he regreted leaving Liverpool when he did (as Warnock may do, according to him). He said that after leaving Liverpool, football became a job to him and felt like that for a long time after leaving.

Isn't the 20 goal-a-season right back we are looking for. Has to go.
