Agree with that. Poor form and injuries have meant we have had a very unsettled back 4 this season, particularly 1st half. Rafa summed Pepe up about six months ago when he talked about how he is a modern keeper. He attacks the situation by coming off his line and backing his positioning ability (best i have seen) forcing the attacker into a early shot. Reina is a good shot stopper but he rarely needs to show it because he forces attackers into committing to a low percentage shot. Cech is undoubtably class and I rate him as highly as a keeper but for me Reina suits Rafa's game plan better and therefore easily gets my vote. I do not think Reina's ability to start couter attacks gets enough credit either.

I've seen him f*** all but since he went to RM this year he has always been described as a left back. I am sure he played further forward in the youth comp last year. How about Insua LB and Drenthe LW with Babel as 2nd striker, inside left. Messi on the right

Me too. I'd be worried if he went there because I think the only way he would go there is if Rafa was going to join him there soon after.

True but he was injured for half of the season and never seemed to fully recover. Still had some great games, Chelsea 1st leg for example, but for me at the start of the season he we excellant. When he plays at his best he is normally 2nd/3rd assist for me and that's why Opta stats mean f*** all, IMO.

If we win the title next year it will be a monumental effort unless we are blessed with a benovelant owner. Rafa is attracting some world class talent and we need these players. If he offered a pay for play contract it would be a great deal. Harry, when fit, is better than most left sided players around by some distance. If he isn't fit we don't pay him, simple. We can't lose.

Correct. They all would of taken the money and f***ed off. If any of them had the balls (cajones?) to stay they would of done well to have been half as good as Rafa has in turning it around. Rafa is determined to succeed here and I look forward to it.

You can add Alonso's return from injury and Babel's development reaching a stage where Rafa was happy to start him.

Disagree mate. Arsenal away was a big game, we got a result. We rotated very heavily in the last 5-6 weeks and it served us well. We are playing to a rigid structure generally and I would give you that. When it comes to changes/game we are at a high in the last month and if we lost badly it would of been brought up by the media. Only reason it isn't is because the media are currently telling everyone that the lack of rotation and new formation is why we are winning. Dullards, the lot of them.

Wrong. We rotated more than ever at the end of the season. 8-9 changes per game.

I think it affect the players a little bit, maybe. would definitely of affected Rafa bigtime though. Rafa would of had to adjust the way he has operated for years. To his credit he did that and I actually think it is ablessing in disguise as Rafa's developed a closer relationship with his players this year IMO and this is a positive.

Agree with that but I would prefer they played in a strong team. I want them to perform and we cant expect them to come in and replace Stevie, nando, carra,masher etc.
