I haven’t been on here for ages but am deeply sorry to hear this. Going back, as others have said, to the koptalk days, Vic always stood out as someone worth listening to. I’ve lost a couple of mates this way and it is always awful. Anyone thinking to themselves that they could have done more and beating themselves up about it then please take a step back, it doesn’t always work that way.

My nephew-in-law (if such a word exists) has a few football connections and was saying a couple of weeks ago that he'd heard from someone at Derby that Hughes to LFC was very likely this summer. He's never claimed inside knowledge before and seemed to be passing it on in good faith.

Firstly, well done to the ladies, a great achievement! Wel done to the club in backing them. Both my girls play and it's nice to see it being taken seriously by the club. But what's with the Jen Chang reference? Someone else mentioned himin regard to the ladies but I never saw the story.

If any Liverpool manager just sees us as a stepping stone then they are not fit to be a Liverpool manager. We should be the summit of a managers aspiration and if we aren't at the top they should be trying to get us back there, not just looking to enhance their CV. I can't believe I have to explain this. -

Call me old fashioned but *if* he had gone to Citeh for an interview he should have been dumped out of the club instantly. Preferably straight into the lake in Stanley Park. -

That's exactly how I see it and it seems to have worked too, judging by the reaction of a lot of Kop ST holders. I bet there won't be many kids getting £5 tickets but it makes a good smokescreen for the big price rise. 50p a minute to watch LFC... When I was a kid my mum used to send me out with 50p and I'd come back with a pint of milk, 2 loaves of bread, bag of spuds, piece of cheese and 6 eggs. Can't do that today, too many f***ing security cameras.

Mines gone up £70. In top level of the new categories which is odd considering I'm in the second to top row in Upper Cent (CE3), level with the edge of the Anny Road penalty box, and need to take binoculars to see the game and an oxygen cylinder for the climb! Can't say I'm too impressed really

When that happened I fell over and broke a rib. Watched the rest of the game in agony, almost unable to move, then when Dudek saved the last pen I forgot the pain and was jumping and running around hugging people like a madman. Next day was painful...

Popped home this lunchtime and had a suprise, a nice letter from LFC offering me a season ticket. I've been on the list since 1996, only last week I checked my position in the queue and I was still in the 500+ range. I assume they must have had a lot more people not renewing this year than is normal, as I've not heard of another tranche of tickets being released like they did last year. Oh happy day!
