I think I've had it with Carroll. I'm not saying sell him because he's 23 and doesn't have a lot of PL experience. It's an absolute joke that Newcastle signed Cisse and Ba for about 1/3 of the fee we paid for Carroll. We need to sign a goalscorer to play with Suarez and it has to be either Llorente or Huntelaar. If Kenny doesn't see signing a goalscorer as top priority then he really ought to be sacked.

Bottom line is you cannot do what he did. It was stupid.

Well their second goal was offside so it does not count. We only lost 1-0 in my book. I think Newcastle have a better first team than us and that's scary. We're 11 points off them and there's nothing unfair or unlucky about it at all. Our league form is terrible. Liverpool is a real mess. Blame the manager and the players. Worst feeling I'm getting is not only will we lose to Everton in the Cup but they'll probably finish above us.

Don't know about the rest of you but I'm looking forward to the Newcastle game. I think our new targets should be winning the FA Cup and chasing down Newcastle for 6th spot. They are 8 points in front of us for those who don't know. I hope Kenny makes the intelligent decision and drops Carra for Coates and play Carroll from the start. And maybe consider dropping Enrique who has been rubbish most of 2012.

The manager has to take a big part of the blame for some massively overrated, overpaid British signings who have not delivered. The manager has to take a big part of the game for sticking with Carragher when there is a ball playing centreback in Coates who can comfortably bring the ball out of defence and be an extra man against a team that keep 9 men in their half when we have possession. Win the FA Cup and we'll talk about the manager's position when the season is over. Technically our league season was over a long time ago but we the fans need to back the team to FA Cup glory because I sure as hell don't want to wait another 6 years for another trophy.

That may well happen. Adam's been dropped for the last 2 and deservedly so. I'd rather Gerrard plays this one and is rested for the home game versus Wigan on Saturday. If we keep playing on the same consistent level we have been playing the last 2 games, we can go on a winning run. 6 league games before the FA Cup semis and all are winnable.

I think Kenny D has picked the right team to win the game. If that first 11 cannot score at least 2 goals today...then I might break one of my fingers in anger. I'm predicting 3 -1.

If we have serious ambitions about aiming for a CL place next season, he cannot be a regular starter. He's a ideal squad player but someone better needs to take his place or we'll be fighting for 6th - 7th position again.

Yeah I seriously doubt we'll lose this game. I have a feeling there will be a very good response from Liverpool. Everton are in good form and I don't think they'll come to defend. They will think they can win. So it should make for a very exciting derby game. I predict a 3-1 victory and no Red Cards.

Who in the blue hell is Damien Plessis ?

Can't wait for Carra-Gerrard to form our future manager/coach team. They will most likely never win the Premier League title as players but hopefully one day these 2 will win us the title as manager/coach.

Interesting to see who plays in the middle on Tuesday. Will Kenny have the guts to drop Adam after today's performance ? I was surprised he picked Coates today but Seb did ok. Adam should be dropped and we should play Spearing-Gerrard-Henderson in the centre and for goodness sake give Maxi a game. downing is Downing and Bellamy was ineffective today. I'd put Maxi-Carroll-Suarez upfron against Everton.

I think Spearing did well today but we did lose the game in the midfield. Most football games are won or lost in the middle of the park. Adam is too average, Gerrard has been often injured for the last 2 seasons, Henderson is a newbie but there is some potential there. We need a Scholes type there who can control the midfield tempo and dictate play.

I'll bet my life that Adam, Carroll and Downing will be here next season as long as Kenny's in charge. Adam and Downing are 6/10 players....they should be squad players and not first team players. Carroll needs to start regularly for us or else he'll become a 35m joke.

It's a pity we chose this game to deliver one of the worst performances in the league this season although I would have fancied us had we gone to penalties. We need to play well and beat Everton on Tuesday before we face the mighty Stoke City in the cup. We need to win that cup.

Alright then, commence operation "Fightback". We'll win 2-1.

You know fellas, even though most of us think 4th is gone it isn't mathematically over yet. 12 games and 36 points to play for. If by some miracle we do win all 12, I'd be surprised if we don't get at least 4th. But we have to take it game by game. I predict a win by a single goal margin for us on Saturday.

Maybe the right player wasn't available. No point spending if we don't spend on the right player or to be more specific the right player the manager wants. I'm sure this problem will be fixed in the summer.

Progress has certainly been made under Dalglish but to take the next step we need to make a couple of really big signings which won't happen without Champions League football. I doubt we'll be spending big this summer. I think we'll have a net spend of 20m or so. We can generate money by the new Warrior deal and by hopefully selling Cole, Aqua and whatever rejects we might still have on our books. The 3 important signings we need to make is a top quality back up to Lucas Leiva, and 2 goalscoring offensive players. What a loss Lucas has been and I think most of us are realizing just how important he is to our first team. I'd like to see Dempsey play for us. He does the business in the Premier League against the type of stubborn defences we seem to struggle against and he has been doing it for the last 3 seasons. It's time he plays for a bigger club. He's at his peak right now and we should go for him as he has only a year left on his contract. Home form needs to be fixed next season ...then we can think about challenging for 3rd or 4th but we won't challenge for the title as the 2 Manchester clubs are too strong.

Contract expires in July 2013 I believe. He won't be playing for Fulham next season and I'm very certain of that.
