I was under the impression that the contract offer he's had gives him control of transfers and the academy. f*** knows what the sticking points are now, according to that article in the Times it's job security for his backroom staff and wanting assurances the owners will come to speedy decisions which just doesn't sound right - if he's been handed control of transfers and has a budget to work with what other decisions does he need from the owners that would stop him signing his contract.

There's some debate over whether it was us or Celtic singing YNWA first as a football song, I've never seen it proven either way conclusively. FOAR is mostly our words to a non football song. The one I'm talking about is a Rangers song with the chorus changed, poor effort imho. You'll find it was already resolved before you stuck your oar in and according to the latest dictionaries the word 'Gay' is now recognised as a noun that can be used as an insult whilst not being offensive to homosexuals when used in a certain context. I fail to see a difference. As I said, no offence intended - end of.

It's a word that couldn't have been found offensive in the context it was used unless you're a Daily Mail reader or 1892 section performing seal.

Actually yeah, not just the once though - three times. I think the original post was aimed at You'll Never Walk Alone and as I said it's debatable that we actually took that from Celtic. Whether you define it as a chant or a song it's still s*** and there's numerous better alternatives.

I can't imagine any scenario where that would sound good. It's unoriginal and s***. There was actually a fair bit of spontaneity on the Kop last week at the Portsmouth game and that was in the much maligned block 203.
