    I wonder will the Yanks fund a crazy summer for the mancs? As much as i agree that an agressive striker would have had a least two today the question is whether or not we need one. We are winning games as it is and as Rafa said, we are at about 80%. Is part of the final 20% the striker we speak of?

    Spurs had quite a lot of possession in the second half today, but a high percentage of that was in their own half where we were happy to let them at it. Personally i thought Momo was excellent today. Once he can work on his short game he will be fantastic. Everything is 110%.

    But this is exactly the point. Its difficult to warrant paying that sort of cash, be it now, or over the next 5 years. Besides, there are other players of similar quality in different leagues and im sure Rafa will find them. LeTallec was playing out of skin at that age. Had he done what he did in an english under 17 side then this type of money would have mentioned.

    I understand that second would be an 'achievement', in that it is another step in the right direction and would be an excellent platform to build on for a proper title challenge next year around. Winning the league would be a 'major achievement', finishing second is not. Remember what a wise scotsman once said.

    It is unlikely going on their form to date, but one or two losses against, say us and the mancs, or a couple of consequtive losses and cracks will show. They are far from invincible and lady luck has been on their side all season.
