Maybe worth a thread of its own but fearing the backlash, i'll post it here: One of the lads in our office had an all singing/dancing corporate day at Goodison for the Brum game. He was in the company of some of the accountants sponsors etc. Much to their disgust it was generally accepted that Arteta was coming to us in the summer for approx £7mil. Maybe a replacement for Hamann??

Ask him how highly he regards his relationship with the fans of his club. i.e. Does it really bother him if the fans boo etc.

I think weve got one of the best keepers in the game. Commanding, very vocal, positioning second to none and a superb shot stopper. Pepe makes being a goalie look easy -
Agreed - I remember an article when he was with us where he said he loved winding the opposition fans up, and he didn't mind being a hate figure. I think silence will wind him up.

Forgive my ignorance, but will Rafa be involved in any way with the preperation etc? Im just thinking this will be a big result for the club, and theres no better manager of a team over two legs.

I think it was because their CH was at fault for at least two of the first half goals. Totally out of position for the first, he went to challenge Momo for the flick on and left Sami for a free header, and he shouldn't have let Luis put Crouchy through for the third. In short he was "avvin a mare"

That was a fine performance. Quick, strong in possession, good shot and good crossing. He also takes a good corner which will free up Stevie to cause a bit of havoc in the box on set plays. Cant wait.
