If Tactics were right, selection was right, 2 out of 3 subs were right, why did we lose? It is not always the managers fault and players need to deliver but imo he did not get everything spot on last night.

He brought Hamann on in Istanbul when we needed 3 goals, we only needed 2 at the start of play yesterday. Cisse has pace. Owen says that Gerrard is the fastest player in the england squad. But you need to have pace in the right areas, see Henry for example

No as someone said earlier, during the first half the whole Benfica team were getting boo-ed when they had the ball.

Some do, some don't. Bowyer for example never has a good game at Anfield and he is always boo-ed. I don't mind it if they deserve it.

I would never leave before the end of a game because I support the team as much in the last minute as I do in the first, but I also don't care if people leave before the end, maybe they have reasons. I hate this 'real' fans against the rest nonsense that raises its head now and then.

I think he could be the type that if playing for a team who are 'under the cosh' more so than Liverpool are then he would do quite well, its because we are usually attacking and the defence needs to keep its concentration so when they are called on they react well, Djimi can't concentrate. A bit like Kirkland, good when under pressure, useless when called on to make 2 saves per game.

Goalkeeper, defence, Midfield are as good as anyone in Europe, Stikers are as good as anyone in the Irish League...spot where we need to improve.

Are we over the 40 point mark, because relegation is a real possiblity listening to this! We only need at least one of our strikers to hit form and we will be up and running, I havn't seen a match in all this bad run where we have been out played or havn't created chances. It will come, hopefully on sunday.

Goalkeeper - Improved Defence - Improved Midfield - Improved Forwads - No improvement Team as a whole - Improved Manager - Improved (hard to improve greatness but he has a better understanding of the Premier League) Fans - Improved (I get to more matches this season! )

I really can't understand it when people say it was the best night in their lifes, I am as much a red as the next guy, but there have been other days in my life better than Istanbul, the obvious being the birth of my daughters, I don't know how any dad can say winning ol big ears was better than seeing your children for the first time. truly amazed! I know I'll be an easy taget for some on here now and I'll never be regarded as a 'super fan' on this forum now but hey its how I feel!

Best footballing night, without a doubt, in fact you wonder if it will ever get any better! as for best night in my life, then no, not even close.

If his right eye is closed over due to the swelling then of course he can't see out of it! we just have to wait and hope that when all the bruising goes down its not as bad as first seems. I feel sick to the stomach that this has happened to one of our players and a 21 year old one at that.
