  1. yeah, I agree, he puts a very personal viewpoint across very well.
  2. I don't think you can ever give up fighting for justice.
  3. I'm not sure about that, before his injury he was playing very well. If he is free then we would be silly not to be interested.
  4. It's not like we'd miss Carra in the box is it?
  5. I still think he is the most consistant crosser of a ball we have at the club, I would like to see him take our corners for a while and see if we are any more productive.
  6. Carra looks like he is the one who calls it, but I don't think you can underestimate the value of having a keeper like Pepe who isn't afraid to communicate with his defenders and keep them on their toes. Jerzy was great but I think that was the area he fell down on most.
  7. I wouldn't take him for free.
  8. I totally agree with that, why even bother give him the time of day, I have a feeling that would annoy him more anyway!
  9. I should try reading the first post...
  10. He would for ever be cutting inside, leaving us with less room in the middle and no one out wide, the team would suffer. Not his fault, he is just not a left sided player. Best Center/right midfielder we have tho.
  11. He wouldn't displace Harry as left midfield, others I agree but you have to give others credit, a one man team we are not.
  12. I would like the club doctor to be mine as well, 'I just don't accept that your arm is broke, we will find someone to tell us different.' Brilliant stuff.
  13. Vlads in Istanbul, It brought me hope and confirmed why I love Liverpool. Odd choice I know but for some reason it was in slow motion and I will always remember it.
  14. Is that not Dennis Rodman?
  15. Short back and sides, nothing wrong with that...
  16. A good story in one of the Rafa books is when Raneri took over at Valancia one of the defenders asked what system they would use in Defence, Raneri thought that as they were so successful he would just 'carry on in the same system as Rafa used' the defender answered ' we used about 10 different systems depending on the opposition' Raneri walks away scatching his head...

  18. Where's Josemi?
  19. Have we seen this combination in the centre of the park? As much as I love Xabi, and providing we get a right midfielder, would this combo work out better in the premiership?
  20. I have to say watching Crouch at the minute is frustrating, I hate it when a pass goes astray and he runs in a big semi circle with his hands up as if under arrest looking to the skies, once at Highbury he did this and the ball bounced back to where he orginally was, no effort to win it back a la Rushie. Needs to get back to basics. If Sissoko was back I would play Gerrard or Garcia up front with Fowler for the rest of the season.
  21. I like him, a good judge of what a player is actually like is how the opposition players treat him, I cannot remember a time where he is involved in any aggro., other players look like they like him.
  22. I think thats what Rafa was indicating when he said about fewer games will allow him to play the same players, I think we will see Didi start every game until Momo is fit and Stevie will be back on the right, where BTW I think he and Finnan are the best Midfield/defender combination in Europe.
  23. I agree, sometimes fans would love to hear their manager come out and echo what is being said on here 'yes, Djimi is a bit of a lemon and will no longer play while I'm in charge' but Rafa has the longer game in mind he has to weigh up confidence in a player if he is called upon, future transfer fees etc. But yeah, I agree it would be funny to hear exactly what managers really think of some players.
  24. I'm sure Rafa let them know exactly what he thought of their finnishing behind closed doors, no need to make it public, thats what we do...
  25. I know that what ever the families want is what should happen. However, would it not be an idea to actually request from the FA a home fixture on the 15th every year so that we can have the service before a full anfield crowd and pay respects to all that were lost. A very public and emotional service every year would ensure that they are never forgotten and would publicise the need for truth and justice. Just a thought. But whatever tha families decide will always have my full backing. ynwa
