I demand to know results of training matches and reports on players performances at Melwood, they are representing Liverpool football club at all times on a football pitch no matter where or when! In all seriousness this match is not a kick in the a*** away from that, when the real games start then make opinions. BTW I am not laughing or dismissing everything that happenened last night, just pointing out that in the big picture for LFC this season it means next to nothing.

The fact that its a pre season game a few days before a CL qualifier is the exact reason why we shouldn't be overly worried, Players would have had one eye on the next game and I'm sure Rafa told them to take it easy. We lost a pre season friendly against a team who were probably all out to impress in their most important game of the season. Don't worry now, if we lose our next three games by the same margins then have a panic attack...

Selfishly, I hope he doesn't get it, he is our captain and ours alone, I'm Irish, so don't give a feck who the England Captain is as long as it isn't Stevie or Carra, they should be Liverpools Heros and to prevent the 'England Captain Gerrard bailed out Liverpool again...' nonsense from the media. I know it would be a great honor for him but I want him to concentrate on us and us alone.

I never critizised him for it, as you say its his choice what he does, it is just my belief that justice is worth fighting for. If anyone disagrees with that I don't care, in the same why the author doesn't care what I think.
