  1. King Kenny v Chelsea at the bridge 86
  2. yerp we've played a hell of a lot better v Charlton, Brum & Benfica. Malbrangue was the best player on the pitch God alone knows why we where to$$ing about in the corner in the last minute - & what's more it lead to the unpleasantness at the end As for those who left early - they deserve to miss the goals - I just hope it was the muppets who where booing the subsitutions

  11. an early contender for comment of the day
  12. would that be the paper previously known as 'The Manchester Guardian'?
  13. no - that would clash with the Spanish league games that they will want to show that night.
  14. I caught part of the game on Sky, the rest on Radio 5. The contrast in the views on the sending off where vast; Sky - (Gray) the ref had it wrong, he had been 'done' by Messi & the Barca players in general Radio 5 - (Alan Green & Graham Taylor) the ref had no choice, nast challange, harsh but understandable Having seen it myself I go with the 'harsh but understandable' view
  15. who cares - it's good air time!
  16. Hamman Momo Finnan
  17. sounded s**** at the ground
  18. the league game against the mancs started off OK, but it died into a nonentity - a bit like the game realy
  19. too many old me sat in the middle of the Kop (runs for cover...)
  20. There was a period where Jan was simply sublime. He could totally dominate the pace of the game and orchestrated most of the teams moves. He didn't have the steel that Souness, Case & Kannedy had, but his passing, vision & ability to bring others into [lay where outstanding.
  21. radical
  22. I'm with Tetti on this one. I don't accept the first come first served/ no loyalty bit - if that was the case, why did ST holders get first dibs? I am peeved that this is the first game I have been forced to miss for over 3 seasons, and I know that Tetti has followed the club everywhere. I think that this is probably the first time since the fancard/PTS was introduced that I feel it/the system has let me down.
  23. Either way it costs, with debatable value for money
