    Tis a good question and a fair point. That's a totally different reason - we were playing Chelsea, he would have been suspended against a Crystal Palace, not a Manchester City, and unless my rules knowledge is incorrect a red card for 2 yellows there would have reset his yellow card situation at the same time. So yeah, totally different situation.

    Exactly. There was a questionnaire on LFC.tv a couple of weeks ago, and it was so f***ing s***e. Questions like "Would you like more access to the players online?"

    That, and then he was asked post-match if he thought the moment in training where he offered Ibe his glasses when he misplaced a pass was the catalyst for Ibe's performance tonight. (Which is a stupid f***in question, but there you go) He looked at whoever sits nearby from the LFC comms team and said "First of all we should close our doors better in Liverpool." He's right too, we put way too much s*** out there.

    The best part of his goal (other than it hitting the back of the net, of course) was when he won the initial header that he flicked on to Ibe. Took 3 Chelsea players out immediately, and as soon as he landed his speed to turn and sprint into the box was fkin ace. Don't think I realised how quick he was before he joined us, he's got some acceleration.

    I know you're not the only one saying this, but the weight of criticism towards Origi is insane. He's a kid, a kid good enough to already be playing for one of the best countries in the world, a kid good enough to get a ton of interest before moving to us. Can we give him a couple of years?

    That's done it, I'm convinced now. Would be nice to have a win, just realised it's been a month since our last one.

    You've almost convinced me, but I'm still on the fence. A win would be great for confidence, but feels like we could use a concentrated amount of time on the training pitch.
