I'm obviously in the minority here, but I genuinely don't see anything he did that's insanely wrong. Bogdan against Exeter was ridiculous, it was right in the centre of the goal. vs Arsenal, Mignolet starts off exactly where you'd expect a keeper to start. Lallana and Sakho start in front of the front post very close to the goalline, and get sucked out as soon as the corner is kicked leaving a new massive gap at the near post. Ball should never have made it as far as it did.

Don't all keepers take roughly that position when a corner is taken? That screenshot is about 1/2 a second after the ball is kicked.

Coutinho and Firminho both played for us against Wolves today at Melwood. Phil scored 2, Firminho got 1, won 3-2.

Thought the same thing, didn't see him actually catch a ball, just kept pushing them out in front of him. Didn't see him come from a cross either, but I stopped watching 3/4 of the way through. -

Slightly unfair considering Rafa was a much more/better defensive coach than Rodgers. But yeah, he's not quite good enough for where we want to be.

Benteke runs way under what is a fairly flighted ball, that's not the right thing. He didn't get anywhere near it, and he was under no pressure from any Palace players.

If Benteke had just stayed standing where he started when the corner was taken he'd have cleared it easily. He didn't, he ran 3-4 yards under the ball and didn't get anywhere near it.

Amazing that Benteke avoids any criticism for that second goal. Completely and utterly misreads the path of the corner, despite having no Palace player challenging him.
