  1. No way he's going to sign this new contract he's been offered when he has to deal with that s***.
  2. *Little Lord Fontleroy.
  3. 0.314961 inches. (aka £8mm)
  4. NVM
  5. Yeah it's been vastly reduced now, thank f*ck. Think they're getting some behind the scenes coverage of one session a week, compared to almost every day previously.
  6. I think he's the absolute opposite. Pretty intelligent player, but doesn't have the skill, speed, or strength to make it happen.
  7. What a load of b******s.
  8. Course it's not. Selling club's valuation of a player doesn't match buying club's valuation of a player, happens all the time. Absolutely bizarre to blame anyone for this.
  9. Exactly. Bizarre to blame anyone for not meeting an asking price that's clearly ridiculously inflated.
  10. Don't forget about the £3.2 million we got for Ian Rush.
  11. If we want him to come for crosses more often then there will be a lot more of those.
  12. Aye, would be ace for all involved if this was a turning point for him.
  13. Well in Mig. Has his weaknesses, makes mistakes, but clearly a good lad and well liked.
  14. That's not next, that's so last year.
  15. Get it on a laptop mate, take it with you when you poo.
  16. You're probably right, but all the more reason to make the quick pass rather than continually try to get the better of a fullback who had him in his pocket. For me, that's how young wingers are different to young strikers - a young striker can be s***e for 89 minutes and pop up in the right space to get a tap-in. A good young winger who's being dominated should be smart enough to adjust what they're doing and start playing passes inside, making the fullback think a bit more.
  17. That's just daft.
  18. Yeah good points. I think the fact that he causes a lack of confidence and certainty back there is most of the problem. Dead surprised that we're offering him such a long contract - not really because I don't think he can become good enough, but because of what Jarg points out, almost everyone has been done with him for ages.
  19. I agree, and there's no doubt he's nowhere near Joe Hart's level. And I think he's probably been told a million times lately to come for corners - think Klopp said a few weeks ago that he'd much rather a keeper come out for a ball and miss it than not come out at all, so I'm sure Mignolet starts on his toes ready to go forward. I just don't think it was the howler that it's been described as by so many. (Again, I know I'm in the minority and am probably wrong)
  20. Is right.
