  1. How is the black one as far as size goes - is a medium really medium, or are they a bit tight? I got a medium Dortmund shirt last year and it fit me like a bloody xsmall.
  2. Apparently Klopp has sent Sakho home.
  3. Loris Karius ‏@LorisKarius 23h23 hours ago 2-0 win today, but I think I stole the show... I'll try to make it less exciting next time. #preseason #LK1 @LFC
  4. You do know that it's possible to look class against inferior opposition, right? Exactly.
  5. I'd suggest you don't know your defenders then, cause he looks dead class considering this is pre-season and he's playing with a team of guys he's never played with for the first time in 7 years.
  6. "Worse" isn't a great word for it, but yeah, choosing a younger player with potential for one price over a more finished article for more money. At 7m he might be first choice, at 10m he may not be anymore. You're welcome mate, always happy to help.
  7. It's not that surprising is it? At £7m he's, say, £7m cheaper than Player X who is an alternative target with more experience. Klopp goes with the younger option because of the price difference. At £10m he's only £4m cheaper than Player X, so now it's not as much of a no brainer. It's not any different to us buying things, just much bigger numbers. I might buy a Ford if it's half the price of an Audi, but if the Audi is only 40% more than the Ford, I'm rethinking things.
  8. And he hasn't been good for a bit either.
  9. Haven't bought tickets yet, but I'm going to be in LA that day so was considering it. You going?
  10. Molby, you're bizarre on this. Entertaining, but bizarre. We get it, you think FSG are s***e. But if you acknowledged their admittedly few good moments, your position would be much easier to agree with.
  11. Makes sense to end on a post that makes no sense tbf.
  12. OR. The cost of removing him is enormous, so they've just scaled back a huge amount of his responsibilities and are letting his contract run out. Or that.
  13. Watched it too, he looks like 1 part Emre Can, 1 part Coutinho.
  14. Don't engage mate, he's gone crackers.
  15. It really is a weird shout.
  16. If they end up not charging him, it's dead s*** that he's had to miss France's Euros run.
  17. Yeah that's all fair. Think the choice that will end up defining their ownership of the club is who ends up as CEO. An internal/American who's good at running businesses will be the end of them. Hopefully they make the right choice. The saving grace of the scouts is that they seem to have identified some good talent over the past few years, but we've not been able to close the deal - either because of Ayre, Rodgers, lack of CL, or whatever wage structure is in place. I stand well corrected on them then, I vaguely remember them being considered ace.
  18. We were talking about the structure of the club, not the players. Fair enough, thought they were meant to be the biz.
  19. It's not meant to be a childish tone, apologies if it's coming across that way. I do think you go overboard about FSG, so I don't think there's anything wrong with engaging with you from a different perspective. I completely agree that the structure around him needs to be more like Dortmund, but do you not think they've attempted to do that? Bringing in the City scouts was widely regarded as a coup, bringing in Alex Inglethorpe was too. We've now got a top fitness guy and dietician in too. So would you not agree that the attempt has been made? Some of their decisions have been s***e - the obvious one being Ayre - but it feels like they're trying to build a structure that can make the club more successful.
  20. Nah. You've said many times that FSG aren't backing Klopp in the transfer market. No way a manager like Klopp, who could manage almost any club in the world, will sign a new contract if that's the case.
  21. So FSG don't give a s*** what the fans think, but FSG give a s*** what the fans think? Crackers.
  22. Other than get one of the best managers in the world. And then offer him a new contract that he's obviously not going to take because FSG aren't backing him and he can't wait to get out. Obviously.
  23. Exactly. But burn 'em anyway.
  24. Right, that's what I said. And since you're right and FSG are g*******s and don't know what they're doing, and Klopp has identified his targets but FSG aren't going to back him because they don't want to break their structure, then there's no way he's going to sign a new contract. No way.
