It's not that surprising is it? At £7m he's, say, £7m cheaper than Player X who is an alternative target with more experience. Klopp goes with the younger option because of the price difference. At £10m he's only £4m cheaper than Player X, so now it's not as much of a no brainer. It's not any different to us buying things, just much bigger numbers. I might buy a Ford if it's half the price of an Audi, but if the Audi is only 40% more than the Ford, I'm rethinking things.
