  1. They didn't though, they did something in between the two. They're not amazing. They're not the worst. Are they good enough? No, it doesn't look like they are, but they're much closer to the middle of that scale than you and others try to portray.
  2. I know, that video just makes me laugh though. FWIW I do agree that feelings/mood play a huge part, I can see where you're coming from with that.
  3. Through no extra effort/cost of your own, you've jumped up over 2,000 places. Be happy with that?
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4f5ewIYYuQ
  5. You're 100% right. This conversation isn't happening: Klopp - "FSG, I desperately want a left back" FSG - "You can't have one Klopp, but here's 25 million quid for a semi-attacking midfielder you don't really need" Klopp - "Ohhhhhh ok then boss, thank you"
  6. This is nonsense. Partly because how the feck can you judge a transfer window until the end of the season? This makes much more sense. Mane, Karius, Matip could all prove to be excellent signings for us. Grujic looks really promising from the little we've seen. Klavan is already the best backup CB we've had in eons. Gigi may become class, may not, but not awful.
  7. I'm not the one saying it does? I just said Spurs have a bit of snark about them without being too snide, and it descended into someone pulling them up on reacting to those Chelsea knobs, which like you said, Mother Theresa would have too.
  8. Chelsea antagonized as Chelsea always do and Spurs reacted with an equal amount of snide. Don't see a problem with that at all. It certainly was.
  9. I don't think anyone needs to read any thread to know that Danny Ward is far from terrible. Football doesn't actually live on the internet, you know.
  10. It would be if I'd have said "f*** off and die", but since I didn't, you're Alanis Morissette.
  11. Yeah maybe, always thought he was just a bit dour. Thought Rose was fine? He and Lallana I think it was smashed into each other and immediately got up and shook hands. He made the most out of every challenge Mane made on him once he'd been booked, but I would hope our defenders would do the same against the opposition's most dangerous player. Vertonghen seemed fine too, I may have missed something.
  12. The only prick on their team is Alli though, right? The rest of them seem alright, although Dier was heading towards prick territory quickly last season.
  13. f*** off with this s***e. Mignolet is loads better than Ward, but Ward is extremely far from terrible. Everything doesn't have to be extreme you know.
  14. Don't agree with that at all, we've been begging for a side that had their level of snide for years.
  15. What the f*** are you posting it here for then?
  16. Deffo, look at all the Americans we've signed since these took over. Idiot.
  17. Right? I was having a chat with a mate last night and he said "If Liverpool could learn to play well in both halves you'd have beaten Spurs" Like a team of Spurs quality playing at home isn't going to be on top for periods of the match?
  18. We've got 2 new goalies.
  19. He's a massive s***house. That knee down on Firmino was Fellainiesque.
  20. It's really not. It's a bit daft, and may end up being a lot stupid, but I don't think anyone is getting locked up for it.
  21. True. He's definitely consistent/steady, and I don't know about where he rates in the league b/c I don't watch many matches that we're not playing in. I just think he looks massively uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, and generally looks awkward making a challenge. Honestly felt like he looked better last season because he had Milner in front of him, who generally did a good job helping him out. We def have bigger issues than him. Appreciate your logic/insight. He did, although Lallana got in his way a bit. But he should have just brought him down. Although, I did say to a mate that if we lost one match during the first 3 I'd prefer it was against Burnley. What happened to the offside rule changing a while back to include that their had to be space between the last defender and the offside player, if any parts of their bodies were level then it was onside? I thought they made that change to help the attacking side of the game, but maybe I made it up. That said, the linesman's position was shockingly bad.
  22. Nah, at that point he was having to cover the shot and the possibility of Rose pinging it back across the box for someone to tap in. Defending was s***e.
  23. I think I'm in the minority, but I think Clyne is a massive weak link in our team. He hardly ever looks comfortable with the ball at his feet, his passing is average at best, and defensively he gets caught out of position and fails to commit to tackles so often.
  24. Or, you know, on the wing/inside forward where he usually plays.
