Great post Mike. It's not too dissimilar to a quality player coming through from a mid-tier club and just not being able to make the step-up, despite occasionally shining. Doesn't make BR a spoofer, just means that in the end, he hasn't been good enough consistently. Defo time for him to go, but the number of people with knives out eagerly awaiting it leaves a bit of a bad taste - Hodgson was the only manager I've ever been glad to see leave the club. Definitely agree with this too - our squad feels like a squad that's been inherited, no real structure and plan to the kind of players.
