Why risk any first choice players in this game, Suarez in particular shouldn't play rest him.

Gerrard Bellers Skrtel Spearing was very good as well, in fact they all played well.

We aren't hated by everyone far from it, the way the FA have handled the racism charge with Suarez and the media's response makes it very easy to feel as if everyone hates us, when he was the convienent stick that could be used to beat Sepp Blatter and FIFA with. Sky are just full of pundits who are petty and small minded, without the wit or intelligence to actually think about how ridiculous they sound at times, whether Sky have a coporate agenda against us is arguable but if they did, I would think it might possibly be because a) we don't pander to them and b) they hate the fact, they missed out on covering the only English team to have truly dominated in Europe, i.e Liverpool FC. We do have to be careful about our reaction, otherwise the thought everyone hates us could be a self fulfilling prophecy.

It has already been said but if we had taken half a dozen of the numerous chances we have created this season, we would be sat in 3rd place and it would be totally justified given a lot of the football we have played this season. Yes Carroll has been a massive disappointment so far and in some games it has felt like we have been playing with 10 men but he is young and he may well improve and Downing has been disappointing but when you take everything into consideration you can see a lot more positives than negatives and we are heading in the right direction. Its been frustrating because we haven't seen the rewards for how well we have played at times but patience is required not some of the almost childish table thumping and gnashing of teeth we have seen on here.

He was always going to get a ban for the gesture. But we have to be nastier to refs and not give them a minutes peace and the club should also be as verbal as it can when we disagree with anything. The FA are spineless, inempt cowards and if you stand up to them enough they will back down eventually.

Not a chance he burnt his bridges and his form is no better than Carroll's,.

He's biggest mistake was not giving himself time to play under Kenny and discover what he was capable of doing to the club. He must look at whats going on and think "I should have stayed and given Kenny a chance" a fired up Torres and Suarez would have been deadly but he blew it and he is in danger of becoming a player who massively under achieves. For what its worth I think torres at his best is noticeably better than Villa at his best.

Well apart from the fact that carra was fouled first, that makes its a soft pen. I'm not even getting into the argument of if Carra fouled him or not because the ref should have blown for a free kick to us first.

Mmm let me think £50 million for a player who has struggled to make any impact since January, would have been madness to have turned the money down, it was a great bit of business.

Last weeks result was the key to the performance today, it is obvious the belief it has given the side. Kenny has a way he wants us to play and the players are not only trying to play that way but are starting to believe in it as well. Gerrard coming back has been mentioned but imagine how desperate he is going to be, it will be (cliche alert) like signing a £20mill player. How nice is it to enjoy us playing the way we are, especially knowing we are only going to get better? I'm not setting any target but don't rule anything in or anything out.

I'm sure Kenny knows what sort of budget he has to work with but correctly isn't going to come out and say so. The first thing I want to know about who is signing is when the deal has been done. Of course the budget is affected by who hew can offload etc but put all of that to one side and just accept its probably the most exciting summer transfer window we have had to look forward too for a long tme. Just purely and simply because Kenny is in charge.

Some right knee jerking t***s on here tonight, people need to show a bit more faith in Kenny, you might not agree with his team selection but he will get it right and turn things round. As for those saying Hodgson would have crucified for that team selection etc yes he would because he was a useless c***.

Stop being a drama queen and you are always concerned anyway. Have a bit of faith in Kenny and there are others that need to as well.

You dont need to understand his thinking behind any decision he makes, just accept he will get it right.
