I think the writing was always going to be on the wall from early on with Hodgson purely cos of the way he sets his teams up. I'm not sure where the idea that he would have us playing decent ball came from. For right or for wrong, a lot of the frustration among fans regarding the last two managers was down to supposed negative tactics. At least we had some level of success with both. Now we have the worst of all worlds - an absolutely mind numbing "game plan" (if you could even call it that), sh*t results and bizarre comments, all against the backdrop of the club being raped by a pair of c*nts. It's no wonder people have had enough, 12 games in or not. It was a sh*t appointment from day one.

Allowing the team to play a bit further forward up the pitch might be a decent start.
