It would be a dream if Llorente somehow started I assume Kane just comes in for Sissoko/Wanyama (with Son and Moura either side of him) and Eriksen plays a little deeper

We’d get a lot of chances against this Ajax side. They’re very open and take quite a lot of risks playing it out from the back and you’d think we’d be all over that.

Not remotely. Although that's just as much down to Salah and Firmino both being out than just yesterday's result. If they were both fit I'd think we'd have a real chance of turning it around. I hope Klopp does something mad or Oxlade-Chamberlain starts, something different, because if it's a standard 433 with Origi and Shaqiri upfront then it'll be tough to watch. And it'll be over long before half time.

It’s so demoralising. I hope Guardiola only stays for another year or so because until he does they’re going to get 95+ points every season. We’ve been fairly fortunate in a lot of games this season, scored a lot of last minute winners and the front three have been practically injury free (up until now) yet we’re still going to come up short. It’s an incredible effort but shows just how difficult it’s going to be. If Firmino and Salah were fit I’d at least be genuinely optimistic about tonight and have something to look forward to but without them it’s so so unlikely. Such a shame.

Yep. Plus we’ve played 4231 at times this season which would accommodate them all. We’ve also been fortunate with injuries this season. Don’t think any of them have missed more than a few games every now and again.

I genuinely think we will. Might not be enough in the end but really do think we could beat them convincingly. They literally lost a 3-goal lead in the CL last season to a team who we're comfortably better than. An early goal or two and it's on big time. Obviously if they score first we're f***ed.

Thought we played well there. Gomez struggling a bit and Wijnaldum a bit anonymous but it should really be 1-1 and we’d be laughing.

For them to go out in the worst possible fashion midweek and then to still come back and win a few days later is a bit demoralising like.

Last night was great for us. It's all on their next two games I reckon and going through last night wouldn't have made them winning those two less likely. They must all be gutted, they went out in the worst way imaginable. Also, it'll feel as if they've lost to Tottenham twice now. They're not going into this weekend's game full of confidence.

Thought we were really bad until the goal. It’s a good thing their striker can’t finish. After that was absolutely fine though. Reckon we’ll get another when they start pushing up further.

Yeah I think he'll be used at right back either against Chelsea or Porto. Although I want him back in at centre back ASAP.

His attacking runs normally end with him 50 yards out of position and the other team having the ball. What’s not to love?

They will but they'll also know it's not a disaster if they lose. 5 points clear and will likely have seen Cardiff beaten by 4 or 5 a few days earlier. They've got a decent set of fixtures after ours as well so plenty of better opportunities to pick up the 5-6 points they'll need to be safe.
