    Doesn’t change the point. I don’t think Adrian and co need any time off when they’ve barely played. As I said I do get it and Klopp makes a lot of valid points but it’s still going to be very frustrating if/when we get knocked out.

    He’s definitely been consistent on this since he’s come here and his point re Critchley managing the U23 side is a fair one. But still feel like we’re throwing our chance of a treble away for the ‘greater good’ when there are plenty of senior players who’ve barely played in the last few months and don’t need a two week break.

    Maybe last season but he’s got end product now. Klopp called him unplayable and it felt like it at times.

    Might be my favourite win of the season that. Would have gladly taken a point with 15 mins to go. Unbelievable.

    Not sure if that’s true but it’s one of the very few explanations there are to them not having sacked Solskjaer already. Maybe they’ve agreed a deal in the summer. It’s mental. They have the worst manager in the league.

    Still can’t believe they’re persisting with this shambles but long may it continue. I reckon he’ll be sacked if we beat them comfortably in a few weeks though (as I assume the only reason he’s not gone already as they’re still within touching distance of the top 4).

    Annoyed at how poor we’ve been but that VAR decision is absolutely ridiculous. No issues with it not being a pen but it’s quite clearly a foul (and therefore a red).

    He’s passed his medical. Great signing (albeit I’ve only watched him twice).

    He’s such a goal threat isn’t he. Could see him getting another 10 this season if he steers clear of injuries.

    How strong are Villa going to be? 1.4 seems pretty generous if it's anywhere near a first choice. But their next 4 games are all teams around them so I guess they could see this as the least important fixture and rest plenty as well.

    Presume we’ll make quite a few changes for the midweek game then back to full strength for the final. There’s 5 days between that game and Leicester so it’s not too bad.

    We’re playing like we know we don’t have to get out of 2nd gear to beat these. Which is probably true but not the best to watch.

    Yeah I think so too. The best centre back partnership I've seen with van Dijk was when he played with Gomez in the first half of last season. Think we only conceded about 3 goals over a dozen or so games before Gomez got injured.

    Attacking side. I like it. If we score 4 they need 6 etc.

    City are out of it. Even if they win every single game for the rest of the season it might not be enough. And I don’t think there’s much chance Leicester take more than 8 points than we do over the rest of the season. So basically, bar an absolutely monumental f*** up, we’ve basically won it.
