Plus Salah and Mane could miss 4-5 weeks due to the AFCON couldn’t they?

Players didn’t really look too arsed in that second half and Klopp clearly isn’t either. Got what we deserved.

Not too bothered about going unbeaten either but it’ll be a bit disappointing if we don’t break 100 points and/or win another trophy considering the position we’re in. A real lack of intensity so far. Suppose that’s always going to be a bit of a challenge when the league is virtually wrapped up. It does seem to take us a few games to regain our rhythm when we’ve had a bit of a break though. They’ve looked a threat from every corner they’ve had too which is a bit concerning.

Watched him for the first time the other day and he looks made for this side. Really quick, can beat a man, good touch, works hard, can cover a few positions and is a constant threat. Looks like the type of player that Klopp could really move up a level too and his numbers are already really impressive.

That was so poor. I know the commentators will bang on about how good they were defensively but it was more down to our lack of quality. Delivery from out wide, set pieces, final ball, all really poor. Can’t remember us even putting together a good move going forward and not sure anyone had a good game. Ref was absolutely dreadful as well. Still pretty confident we’ll go through mind as that result was down to us rather than them being anything special. Btw are Mane and Salah injured? If not can’t believe those subs.

Mane needs to be careful. They’ll be throwing themselves to the floor any contact he makes. Disappointing first half but think we’ll come out a lot stronger once Klopp’s had a word.

His net spend was less than £10m per season

He got them finishing in the top 3 consistently and got to a Champions League final. That’s moving them on. And that’s without having that much money to spend either. They’d either scrape 4th or not qualify at all prior to him. It’ll still take him a few years to compete and even then he’ll need quite a big drop off from us or City to manage it but he’s as good an option as there is for them out there.

That rule was changed about 10 years ago
