  1. I think it does matter though. If Napoli win and we lose in Paris it’s game over. If PSG win, it’s in our hands even if we lose in Paris.
  2. What’s the best result in the other game? Seen people saying Napoli but if PSG win, couldn’t we even lose in Paris and still qualify with a win in the last game? Whereas if Napoli win and we get beat in Paris, we’re f***ed? (As obv PSG win their last game)
  3. Crap from Mane but don’t know why we’ve put him on the right anyway. The only small positive from the first half was how easily he was going past their right back.
  4. Firmino’s due a good game surely
  5. Hopefully Henderson is back ASAP
  6. I still wouldn’t take a draw. These aren’t a good side at all. Need to get one back before half time though.
  7. That’s assuming Klopp has no more money to spend which I’m not convinced is true. We were always meant to be interested in signing Allison which means at the very least the Fekir money should still be there. The local journos also said it was Klopp who decided not to sign someone else after the Fekir deal collapsed. They could all be wrong I suppose and Klopp’s covering for the owners but wouldn’t bet on it.

  9. The manager hasn’t shown much eagerness to sign someone else though after that one collapsed so maybe he was more interested in the player himself than wanting someone for that role (I don’t agree fwiw I think we do need one).
  10. We definitely are. City play 5 attacking players whereas we play 3. It does make us a bit reliant on the front three being great. But Klopp doesn’t seem that eager to bring another attacking midfielder in (although he’s probably still expecting Keita to provide that extra creativity when he’s fit).
  11. Fabinho and Milner struggling with the speed of the game
  12. Shame about Henderson. Would have felt more comfortable with him in the side. Fabinho's done well but this is going to be much faster than the last couple of games. Think Fabinho, Milner, Wijnaldum is nailed on, so the only question is whether Lovren plays instead of TAA (which I think will happen).
  13. Thought they absolutely loved him?

  16. So much better since Shaqiri came on, should have started.
  17. Expected a change or two at the back and can understand it. There’s a week break but then we’ve got two big games in 4 days after (or three in a week) so makes sense. I don’t get the Shaqiri change though. He’s full of confidence, just beginning to feature regularly and then he’s on the bench again. At least Lallana’s in midfield and not in the front three.
  18. Napoli win both and we need a point from the last two games. Two draws and we may need to win the last game against Napoli to be sure (I think)
  19. He's a good player Just don't use him in the front three

  21. Robertson isn’t going to play every single game. It’s better to rest him when you have the chance (Red Star are 50/1 to win tomorrow) than risk him being injured and missing month or so later on in the season. You could play Clyne there instead I suppose but we’ll have the vast majority of possession and Moreno is better going forward than him. It’s not a big deal. He’s not likely to have a great deal of defending to do.
  22. I think he just needs a couple of goals to regain his confidence and there’s no better games for him to do that than the next three.
  23. Don’t like that side at all. Front three hasn’t clicked and the midfield isn’t the most creative so sticking Gomez in at right back seems unlikely to help. He’s been too good at centre back to be shifted out to accommodate Lovren as well.
