    No-one is denying that you but you implied it doesn't matter when we sell these players as we're going to end up paying their contracts anyway which isn't exactly true.

    Find it hard to believe too although I’m sure it does happen sometimes when a player doesn’t want to leave and/or they’re being asked to take a wage cut.

    I have zero recollection of that but having gone back and watched their second maybe it wasn’t so different. When Alisson made that first mistake Foden was still 35 yards out with 4-5 defenders around him. The second one was given to them on a plate though.

    It’s pretty clear what killed us and it wasn't the subs. It’s hard to really criticise any changes because the game was dead a few minutes after they came on

    Agree he should have played Kabak in this game but Fabinho has been one of our best players this season. And I’m sure you’d have had no problems with Williams and Phillips starting regularly.

    Yeah there’s loads of games recently you can point to where he could have made a big difference.

    We’re writing this season off not buying a centre back. It’s ridiculous.

    Absolutely have to sign a centre back. Try and get Henderson and/or Fabinho the opportunity to play in midfield as much as possible in the 2nd half of the season with Thiago. Then hopefully Jota is back sooner than expected and we can put a run together as we’re still the best side in this league. But we really are absolute s***e at the moment it’s so frustrating. 11 points from 9 away games is really poor.

    Didn’t know this was on early so only watched the last few mins but can’t believe some of the players we had on the pitch for a game like this. Really does weaken any argument he’s had re the schedule.

    The replay showing there was zero contact is about as clear and obvious an error as it gets surely?

    Yep and everyone was convinced that their own team was hard done by and they’d be better off with VAR. It’s here to stay now though no matter what. All we’ve done is made the game considerably worse, ruin celebrations and have just as many arguments about decisions one way or another as we did before. It’s rubbish.

    If a decent run in the Champions League keeps Solskjaer around for longer then don’t mind results like this.
