The interviews are good sometimes, but I'm on about "the football show" the bit after ten they dedicate just to football with Ken Earley an A.N. Other. The Riise thing is one of the reasons I posted this, it was tabloid radio, sh*te journalism. There was no story there but they couldn't be arsed doing a bit of research to find that out for themselves, instead they just put on "funny" voices while reading the story verbatim from the paper.

He was by far the best player on the pitch today, he's not a bad player, just a bit inconsistent. He's obviously chased the money to Saudi Arabia though, I think a few British clubs were interested in him and he chose to go there.

So if we did sign two players who'd played in the UEFA we'd only be able to register one, and if we sign 4 players in the Jan window we can only register 3.

He can play for Bolton in Europe after christmas because they're in a different tournament to the one he's already played in. UEFA changed the rule at the start of the season.

Sao Paolo's wing backs are their most dangerous players strangely enough. Both of them are lightning quick and good crossers. Their playmaker Danilo is alright but he looks like a bit of a fairweather player. Their front two today was Aloisio (formerly of PSG) and Amoroso (formerly of Parma, Borrusia etc.) Aloisio is a bit of a Heksey type player, big and strong but he wasn't involved much in the play. Amoroso's lost a lot of pace but he's still a good finisher if people feed him the chances. They play a 3-5-2 formation but the wing backs didn't defend much and the CBs were spread pretty far apart. Long balls over the top were causing them problems all day.

yeah, he seems to be running their CBs ragged, they're spread too far apart because the wing backs are bombing on. I'd say they'll get a roasting at half-time from the boss and sort it in the second half

I wasn't really that impressed by Deco until he went to Barca but he has a lot more to his game than I had previously given him credit for. I wonder if there's more to this than meets the eye though, Lampard has been vocal about wanting to play for Barca in the future this week, maybe there'll be some sort of swap deal.
