yes, LFC are financially sound. the profits were healthy this year, while the debt situation is (certainly at the present time) very manageable. while the glazers have delivered on their promises, you seem to be discounting the fact that most of their finance has been secured against old trafford itself. utd's failure to qualify for the knockout stages shows that they can't rely on big european paydays to fill their coffers. there may have been money available for transfers this season, but it's likely that future transfer dealings will require more caution and selling to buy has been spoken of. regardless of what ronaldo has had to endure off the pitch, he has not consistently lived up to his potential. the fact that his colleagues have had to have words with him suggests he has an erratic personality, which may well explain his mixed fortunes.
