what a stealth-turnaround from blackburn this season. they were flirting with relegation not long before christmas. the squad's not the most glamorous, so you've got to give credit to mark hughes for guiding them to a european spot. top geezer, even if he was a manc. i tuned in for the last ten minutes or so of the match and the blackburn fans were unrelenting in making noise for their team. singing, clapping & stamping throughout. it was the noisiest i've ever heard an english team's support (after our own of course on countless occasions)
hahaha it's all flooding back now. lol at kev & anny in the jester hat and ant doing his turn as josemi with the cup. great day, great evening, great night.
ain't nothing like an all-dayer to combat a rotten hangover. i was right as rain by the third pint. though i reckon i can't have been far off drinking my bodyweight in ale by the end of sunday. my liver's still twingeing today
pardew's been on ssn saying that the ashton 'injury' was not a pulled hamstring. seems like it was more of a precautionary decision to take him off. unless of course pardew's trying mind games on us all.
great night. heartwarming to see such generosity. 'twas a shame jonesy was feeling off-colour, but anny filled in magnificently as auctioneer, MC & even 'model'. i particularly enjoyed 'sold. to the man with the sh-its, for £41'
