We were the better team.....other than the result. The press will say different but anyone who saw the match knows that this is the case. I'm as pi**ed off as anyone but we were battering them for long periods, in the second half especially.

Its the FA who should be sacked - they have no balls at all. The newspapers told them to pick McClaren or fat Sam and they didn't have the guts to make their own choice. You would have thought that experience of playing teams from other countries (and occasionally winning) would be quite an important skill for any England manager to have....the FA clearly don't agree.

Agree 100% - they didn't have too much opposition tonight, but the flanks are still our main area of weakness. We still need someone who can play in various positions on the flanks due to A&A's injury problems - go for Alves again?

1 Masch - broke their spirit 2 Yossi 3 Voronin Special mention to the full backs and everyone else.....other than Riise - why does he always need to shoot into the crowd when 30 yards out rather than play someone in? It's for his own good when we're 6-0 up, not for the team's.

I may not understand a few of Rafa's decisions (what do I know anyway) but the thing I like is that he does seem to quickly act on his mistakes with respect to players, so I trust him that this applies to his tactics and strategy as well. Rafa is one of our main assets, and will be for many years to come.
