  1. We’ve not really looked like scoring all afternoon.
  2. This content is not viewable to guests.,This content is not viewable to guests.
  3. The figure might have been out but the concept is basically the same. No way they’ll want to pay him anywhere near that.
  4. It makes sense if you’re minge bags and don’t want to pay him 300k a week for the next 3 years.
  5. Covering their arses there aren't they after getting called out. That's not to say it'll be easy, I'd say 3 years is the most you'd want to risk and it really depends on how much money he's asking for. But to have not spoken to him at all yet is f***ing mental. Same goes for Virgil.

  8. Tactical from Mo that. Pull your fingers out you tight b*****ds.
  9. He says further down it is incoming
  10. RE Branthwaite - it'll be a lot easier to get him out of there next summer if Everton go down. They'll be in even worse trouble than they are now and (slightly) less sensitive about players leaving. Plus he's a boyhood Red.
  11. I'm not dreading this as much as usual. They're a shambles and we look a bit more solid and stable and walloped them in pre season.
  12. Can't see Gomez fancying Palace. He'll want a project with a chance of CL football I'd have thought. Hope he sticks with us, he's good enough.
  13. So proud and happy we made that dream come true for him.
  14. I can’t stop reading it as ‘Cheeser’ and for that reason I’m out.
  15. Weird bit in that is him saying the club should be stripped of titles but not the players and the manager. Find it difficult to believe there's a single one of them didn't know what was going on to some extent.
  16. Whoever though Jenas had any value as a football pundit should be going as well. Took it to a new level of stupid. He was f***ing insufferable.
  17. Pure speculation on my part but at a guess Jurgen saw the value in spending money on having a lot of youngsters and having them on standby when holes in the squad appeared. The League cup last year showed he definitely had a point. The cost was smaller than big signings and an easier sell to the owners. Edwards didn't see the value to the same extent and it was one of the battles he lost. Needless to say, he's having the last laugh. Being slightly tongue in cheek here, there's probably a middle way that's the best for everyone. That said, you can only sell the kids and cash in once.
  18. Am trying to work out what if anything has changed but the output definitely has.
  19. Is it double oh Jason or oooh Jason? Feel like it needs clearing up.
  20. It’s the Serbians I feel sorry for. They’ve suffered enough.
  21. Yeah the unsigned contract extension are a downer as well. Either get them done or f*** them off. Then you add in VAR, the PGMOL and the financial cheating stuff, UEFA, FIFA and the PL, it's all a bit deflating. Guess it is part of getting old and being aware of the bigger picture, but the purity of footy every Saturday really has been taking a hammering.
  22. They've succeeded in putting massive pressure on Slot and the players for the first game. I've gone from being excited about it after the pre season to borderline dreading it. Nothing a win won't help with, but we could have all been swaggering into this all feeling pumped up. It's these owners all over, all about penny pinching at the expense of vision. Eventually it'll explode in their ashen, soulless cash stuff faces.
