    Thought we were the better team for most of the half but the defending is expected when you start a makeshift defence in a dead rubber. All over the place. Not really a big deal but I’m sure some of these lads will be disappointed.

    I know Slot said it doesn’t really matter where you finish in this format as long as you qualify, and I agree, but it’s always good to win. Breeds confidence and shows everyone that we’re the best around. The best teams win even if they don’t have to.

    He’s been great. Picks the most difficult pass too often tonight but if anyone can pull it off, it’s him. Think he’ll score again if he stays on.

    Weren't we quite dangerous from corners at the start of the season? Trent almost scored directly from a few. For what ever reason we don't seem to have a plan for them at the moment. 15 corners today and the Mac header was the only dangerous one I think. Maybe we're just saving our set piece goals for the run in.

    Good first half. They are deep, but we’re opening them up. Mac and Dom have been great. Just need one of the forwards to show a bit of sharpness now

    Their centre back Murillo looked great. If he's always that good, we should buy him. Just scouted him on google and he's only 22.

    Tsimikas was an improvement but he also tripped over his own feet for no reason about three times. I'd love a new left back. A brilliant one, preferably.

    Insane how we literally had zero shots on target for 65 minutes. Then Jota jogs onto the pitch and scores with his first touch like it's the easiest thing in the world. But yeah, probably should've scored another. Or two.

    3 wins in the last 7 league games. Everyone’s dropping points so it’s not the end of the world but it would be nice to get a few wins now in case one of the other teams get their s*** together.

    We spent 65 minutes following their game plan but were unlucky not to win in the end. If that Jota sub happens 10 minutes earlier, I think we win.
