Frustrating. Better 2nd half but can’t have too many complaints when we gift them 3 goals. f*** knows what got into us 1st half. Need to take this out on West Ham next week. Still need 11 points and this was a timely reminder that we need to be on it every game till it’s done.

Not often you get big mistakes from all four defenders in the same game. And Kelleher seemed to make himself as small as possible for two of the goals. Really poor from everyone. I wonder if we’ll see three subs at ht like v Southampton. A big kick up the a*** from Slot and then go get an early goal. Still possible to get at least a point here.

Losing one of the best full backs the World without an incoming fee to help replace him is s***. But I assume the club's known about this for a while, so hopefully they're well ahead of the situation. Main worry is that we have a lot of work to do this summer already if we want to compete on all fronts next season.

Big job in the summer to find some Slot-approved midfielders who will allow us to rest Grav, Mac and Dom. This is not sustainable.

Lesson learned for next season is to treat the league stage like dead rubbers. Winning it was nice but ultimately gave us no advantage what so ever in the draw. Villa finished 8th and got Mignolet. Use it to rest key players and keep squad players sharp for the 2nd half of the season.

Subs had the exact opposite impact of the 1st leg. Poor.
